Why do you want to grow your business? Is it to create more wealth or to create more value?

Growing to create more wealth is about you. Growing to create more value is about others. For the former, you’re on your own. For the latter, others will help you.

Growth can happen when you fight for a meaningful cause, it cannot be the cause in and of itself. Too many businesses try to make it the cause, but no one wants to work for that cause, certainly not for the long term. 

Working to better the lives of others—service—is a worthy cause. 

Make that the goal and growth will happen.
