Do you make your team owners?

When someone on your team has a great idea, what’s next? Well, you need a plan. You need answers.

What are the specific steps? How do we do it? Who needs to be involved? When will we see a finished product?

If you’re the manager and you want smoother sailing, don’t look for answers in a vacuum, get the team involved. Make them the owners. Ownership equals investment. Investment equals engagement. Engagement equals success.

Why? Because the team knows more about the battlefield than you. Because the team can see problems you don’t see and they’ll see them quicker. Because the team can bring more solutions to the table. Because you don’t make it happen, the team does.

You need your team. Include them, engage them, make them owners.
